INFOCUS19 Wrap Up
by Matt Vanderkooy, Director of Customer SuccessINFOCUS19 was a particularly action-packed show for us this year. While there weren’t any new announcements from Oracle, the keynote showcased innovative clients and there was lots of buzz around Orchestrator throughout the show.Oracle KeynoteLyle Ekdahl reaffirmed Oracle’s promise of full Premier Support (versus Extended Support) until 2030, and highlighted the functionality they are developing, mostly on the Tools side. Within Tools, there were over 40 sessions on Orchestrator at InFocus – highlighting its importance and the value it creates for customers. As part of the keynote, five customers were highlighted for their adoption and use of the Tools features, plus some of the newer modules:
- Lutron Electronics – Orchestrations
- FCL – UX1/UDO
- Edwards Lifesciences – Lease Accounting
- Ledcor – Health and Safety
- Holiday Retirement – Cloud OCI Implementation
These customers demonstrated how organizations are innovating within EnterpriseOne and finding ways to apply the new technology and functionality to their business. The great news is that anyone who moves to 9.2 and Continuous Delivery can access – and benefit from – these features.View the full keynote here.ERP-One Speaker SessionsWe had nearly 300 attendees at our four sessions this year! Our most popular session focussed on Orchestrator, but all were well attended. In addition to Orchestrator, we spoke on Finance Pre-Built UDO, Continuous Delivery, and Tools Net Changes.ERP-One’s ExperienceWe always have a great time connecting with customers at INFOCUS, and this year the energy level was at an all-time high. There was lots of chatter about Orchestrator and getting started with UDOs, and our booth seemed even busier than in years past – something other vendors mentioned to us as well. Our event was lots of fun. The food and drink at Maggiano’s was amazing and it was great to see customers interacting with each other and having a good time. I hope we get to see you all again next year!Did we miss you at the show? Send me an email with any questions!
